Redeem Aiyana’s Dream; March For Justice #1

At started at Grand Circus Park, and we march to the Colman A Young Municipal Center. Aiyana Jones, was a seven year old who was sleeping May 16, 2010 when the Detroit Police search for a homicide suspect, in a Friday May 14, slaying of Jarean Blake, a 17-year-old boy in the area went terribly wrong, and precious little Aiyana Jones was fatally wounded. DPD reported they arrested the suspect during the search. A major investigating of this fatal tragedy is now taking place by the Michigan State Police! The march was coordinated by Jewel Allison: President of International Aiyana Alliance (I.A.A) at 646-512-2475, Rev. Omar Wilks at 347-325-7828, and The Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality, Ron Scott etc. (Sponsored by Rev. Omar Wilks of Unison Pentecostal Church and Rev. Darryl Young of Siloam Presbyterian Church, Jaylaco Media, International Aiyana Alliance, The Native Detroiter Magazine, Salaam Ismial; President National United Youth Council & Street Organizing Coalition S.O.C. The Second U.S. Social Forum, a movements for Justice, Equality, and Sustainability with attendance of more than 15,000 was taking place, some of the activist attending participated in Aiyana’s March For Justice!
