Candle Light Vigil for Aiyana Jones #2

Videographer Kenny Snodgrass, Actives and Author of From Victimization to Empowerment. www.trafford.com/07-0913 – Aiyana Jones, a seven year old was sleeping May 16, 2010 when the Detroit Police search for a homicide suspect, in a Friday May 14, slaying of Jarean Blake, a 17-year-old boy in the area went terribly wrong, and precious little Aiyana Jones was fatally wounded. Charles Jones, her father said he had just gone to bed after covering Aiyana with her princess blanket. Charles also said, he was trying not to be angry, but wanted his story to be told. Aiyana was a beautiful child who loved to sing etc. DPD reported they arrested the suspect during the search. A major investigating of this fatal tragedy is now taking place by the Michigan State Police! The Candle Light Visual was organized by the Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality. Approximately 200 to 230 attended. Aiyana Homegoing Celebration was May 22, 2010.
